A sunrise in orbit must be one of the most beautiful things one could witness When on a low orbit of a few hundred kilometers above our homeplanet's surface you can see only black space, with a few small hard lights, not the twinkling of the stars of the night sky, but the cold white pinheads in a cold, black sky all around. Just there is the dark Sphere in a place which is supposed to be below you, cold blue to warm red in color where the dawn touches the atmosphere, first only a small stripe at what you might call the horizon, but ever growing, encompassing more and more of the round shape of the planet below, then, suddenly a bright sun emerges, lights up the whole Atmosphere even more, bringing ever so much color to the world below, but all passes away in a moment, while the planet is more and more beautifully lighted the sun grows from a much welcomed light to an enormously bright, and white-hot star, too big to ignore, to light to look at, a bright-white disc in a completely pitch black universe. but the planet below being set into a beautiful scenery of dark blue oceans, white clouds and green pastures, brownish to yellowish deserts and dark green rainforests.
